Saws, shaking and baling on us
A tree lot sells you a tree. A farm gives you the afternoon. You drive into the fields, argue about which one is too tall, cut it down together, and warm up at the fire pit while it runs through the baler. Families have been walking these rows for over 40 years, and plenty of them now bring the kids who used to ride on their shoulders. If you would rather skip the saw, both farms keep a full pre-cut selection by the yard, so a farm visit works either way.
The part the kids remember
None of this costs extra. It runs on the free event weekends through the season at both farms, and it is the reason people drive past three closer lots to get here.

The drive north is an hour and change from Minneapolis, which is the whole point on a Saturday and the wrong plan on a Tuesday. Our three metro lots carry fresh-cut trees, most of them grown right here and trucked down, with a free fresh cut at every one.
