Christmas Tree Lot at Richfield Veterans Park

The Richfield lot at Veterans Park is our longest-running metro location: more than 30 years in the same spot. It’s currently managed by Joe, who spends his summers shearing trees across the Midwest as our shearing lead; he and his crew know trees inside and out.

With over 400 trees on display, there’s a lot of ground to cover before you land on the right one: Balsam, Fraser, and Canaan fir, a limited run of Korean fir, spruce, white pine, and Scotch pine.

Beyond trees, the lot carries a full line of holiday greenery and gear: wreaths in five sizes (12” up to 60”), garland, swags, spruce tops, and porch pots, plus table-top trees, tree stands, and boughs, red dogwood, and birch sticks for decorating.

Santa visits

Santa stops by on select weekends , usually 11:00am-5:00pm on the Thanksgiving weekend dates and 11:30am-3:30pm on a couple of December weekends, see Hours & Events for exact dates. Bring the camera: a full-sized sleigh is on site for photos all season.

Good to know

• Premium Fraser fir is a specialty here.
• Staff can help load your tree and provide tie twine; trees can be baled for an easy fit in your vehicle.
• We accept cash, checks, or credit card.
• Closed on Thanksgiving Day; the lot runs shorter hours (10am-7pm) during opening week before switching to the regular schedule.
