Princeton Cut Your Own Christmas Tree Farm

The Princeton farm offers the same traditional cutting experience as Clear Lake on a smaller, more intimate scale: 60 acres of trees running up to 14 feet tall, with a large pre-cut selection for anyone who’d rather not carry a saw.

Out on the yard you’ll find Christmas greenery, the playground, and the fire pit on event weekends.

What to expect

Like our Clear Lake location, you drive yourself out into the fields on marked roads. Greeters and maps steer you toward the section with the tree you’re after, and even across 60 acres, finding your way back is never a problem.

Trees aren’t pre-tagged, so you’re free to cut any tree within the marked fields. Once it’s cut, run it through the baling line; that’s where it’s measured and tagged by size, shaken free of loose needles, and wrapped for the ride home. Take the tagged tree to the cashier to pay; shaking and baling are included at no extra charge.

Event weekends bring Santa, a playground, and a fire pit. Look for the Wishing Tree while you’re on the lot, a Princeton tradition. The season typically opens the weekend before Thanksgiving and runs through mid-December.
